Connect a Printer to your device with the CirQ App

Connect a supported printer to the CirQ app on your Android Phone. If you have any connectivity issues follow the steps below to troubleshoot.

Connect Ethernet Printers

To get started:

  • Make sure your printer has an Ethernet Interface.
  • Locate your Wireless router with an Ethernet Port.
  • Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal.
  • Check that your receipt printer and android device are connected to the same network.

To connect via Ethernet:

  1. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable into the rear panel of the printer, and plug the other end of the cable into the wireless router’s Ethernet port.
  2. From the CirQ app, tap:
  3. Tap Kitchen or Counter Under Printers
  4. Tap the check box next to your Printer and select your printer.
  5. To test your connection, tap Test Print.

Connect Bluetooth Printers

To get started, make sure:

  • The battery is charged.
  • Receipt paper is loaded.
  • The printer has been turned on.
  • Make sure your location permissions for the CirQ App are allowed.
  • Bluetooth is switched on

To connect via Bluetooth interface:

  1. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable into the rear panel of the printer, and plug the other end of the cable into the wireless router’s Ethernet port.
  2. From the CirQ app, tap:
  3. Tap Kitchen or Counter Under Printers
  4. Tap the check box next to your Printer and select your printer.
  5. To test your connection, tap Test Print.
